Yes your brain is a disgusting lump of lipids.
I am writing this nonsense because I just discussed with a friend how societies in general don't care at all what's going on in the minds of people. Your thinking and feelings are never going to be included in normal conversations, except for the case that you end up in a mental hospital; but by then still I won't say it's proper "care" but rather inspection and fixing you.
I was getting very grumpy and cynical at the American "how are you doing" prank. I say this is an iconic manifestation of how little people care about that floating lump of lipids in your skull. When you meet someone, friend or some random person, in American culture you ask "how are you doing?" and then you're kind of done because people will respond "Good good how are you?"
I suggest a version that is confident, straightforward and to-the-point, as American culture will definitely give a thumbs-up:
"Hey how are you doing? I don't give a fuck!"
"I'm feeling fucking bad! Now fuck off!"
"Great! You too!"
